Street Haunting: Illustration for Somerset House Exhibition (2)

Another new illustration I created based on a passage from Virginia Woolf's short story 'Street Haunting: A London Adventure.' We MA students at Central Saint Martins have partnered up with Kings College London to create an exhibition opening SATURDAY at London's Somerset House. This piece will be a further part of my contribution for that. (See below for another piece piece made for the show.)

"The eye is not a miner, not a diver. It floats us down a stream; resting, pausing, the brain sleeps perhaps as it looks."

Street Haunting: Illustration for Somerset House Exhibition (2)

This is a new illustration I created based on a passage from Virginia Woolf's short story 'Street Haunting: A London Adventure.' We MA students at Central Saint Martins have partnered up with Kings College London to create an exhibition opening later this month at London's Somerset House. This piece will be part of my contribution for that. (More information and work for the exhibition coming soon.)

"The very sight of the bookseller’s wife with her foot on the fender, sitting beside a good coal fire, screened from the door, is sobering and cheerful."
-Virginia Woolf
